Pictures with Santa

I had my picture taken with Santa last week and I'm not so sure he's one of my favorite people. Everytime I looked at him and he talked to me I got upset and cried, thank goodness Mommy, Nana, and Aunt Becky were there to cheer me up.

Here's a few of the pictures:

So, I've been crawling like a crazy man, hey it gets me where I need to go. I have also figured out that if I want to take anything with me when I crawl around, I just put it in my mouth and carry it, like a dog. I learned that trick from Sable and Ava, that's how the carry all their toys around with them, so I figured I would try it too. I've been pulling up on the table and other furniture for about a week now, who knew all the cool stuff to play with was on top of the table! The other night I stood up by the couch and let go and stood there by myself for a couple of minutes, then Sable came by and whacked me with her tail and I fell down.

We took our Christmas pictures in front of the Christmas tree the other night. Here's all three of us looking pretty awesome, if you ask me:

I also had my picture taken with Ava and Sable, but they kept getting yelled at because they weren't cooperating. Sable finally gave up and laid down beside me, but Ava kept walking away as soon as Mommy would get the camera out; I think she has issues with the camera flash. Here's one good that Mommy and Daddy were able to capture of us three:

Well I hope you all are enjoying the Christmas season, I know I am. Mommy and I are off to finish up some shopping, I'll talk to you all soon!

My Weekend with Grandpa Charlie

My Grandpa Charlie came to visit this weekend and we had a blast. This was only the second time that I have seen Grandpa Charlie, so it took me a little while to warm up to him, but by Friday night we were the best of buds.

When he got here Friday night we went to a Gwinnett Gladiators with Nana and Papaw. At first I wasn't sure what to think when we were walking down to our seats near the ice, but as soon as they began skating in front of me I was hooked. Mommy dressed me in my pajamas then put a hoodie and jeans over them to make sure that I was warm. At the game I met a little girl named Sarah that sat in front of us, we played peek-a-boo and she let me touch the beads on her shirt, which I really liked, they were sparklie. Here are a few pictures of us at the game.

Saturday morning Mommy and I got up and went to the Junior League Marketplace at the Classic Center in Athens so that we could do the GA CHIP program sponsroed by the GA Masons. We waited in line for about 45 minutes and I was getting very ancy, but luckily there were other little kids that I could look and watch. I did really good throughout the entire process however when it came time to put the tooth marker in my mouth I closed my mouth and wouldn't open it, that thing was gross! When we got home I watched the Georgia game with Daddy and Grandpa Charlie. That night we watched old home movies of Daddy, Grandpa Charlie, and Grandma Lynne - I swear I saw myself on the TV.

Grandpa Charlie left Sunday morning after we had a big breakfast, I had oatmeal and peaches, but everyone else had a big breakfast. The rest of the day we spent lounging in our jammies and watching movies.

On another note, I now have two front teeth on the bottom and I have finally figured out that if I wrap my woobie around my hand I can then chew on my fingers without hurting myself. But, that's about it. I'll talk to you all soon!

My new favs!

Hey everyone, it's been a long time. I just wanted to give ya'll a heads up to my new adventures. So, I'm trying to learn to crawl, but that isn't working as well as I had planned. I did however crawl about 3 steps last night, but then I fell flat and decided to army crawl and wiggle on the floor instead. I just don't understand why I can't just walk already, that crawling stuff is for baby's, but Mommy and Daddy keep trying to get me to crawl. I have been trying out new sounds as well. For a long time I was lovin' the "ooo ooo," nowI have started saying "da da" and "ya ya." Daddy swears I have no idea what I'm saying, but he's crazy I know exactly what I'm saying.

I absolutely love bath time - I can be cranky and crabby and Mommy puts me in the bath and I'm a new kid. I just figured out how to splash, so I get everything wet in the bathroom including Mommy, Daddy, and Ava when she gets close. Here's a picture of me splashing myself in the tub.

Friday was Halloween and I was really excited, I went over to Nana and Papaw's to give out candy to the Trick-or-Treaters. I was Charlie Brown for Halloween, since we look to much alike. I don't see it, do you?

That punkin hat is my cool new hat for fall - Mommy made it for me. I wasn't too fond of it when she first made it, but it's been keeping my head warm so I guess I'll deal with it.

Well it's almost my dinner time, so I better get going. I'll post some more pics soon!

Love you all, Connor

Trying to catch our breath!

A lot of things have happened over the past fews weeks and we've barely had time to catch our breath.

Connor is now 6 1/2 months and growing like a weed. He's into anything and everything, especially anything he can shove in his mouth. We took him in early Cotober to get his 6 month pictures taken at Sears, here is one of my favorites. Isn't he the cutest?

Connor has spent a few days with his Nana and Papaw when we went to the Georgia games. Mom discovered that Connor absolutely loves the Go Dawgs kick-off cheer, so everytime the Dawgs kicked off during the game she would say it and get him to giggle.

I'll get some more pictures posted a little later.

Go Dawgs, Sic'Em, Woof, Woof, Woof, Woof, Woof!

I went to my first Georgia Bulldogs football on Saturday and I had a blast. When we first got there some nice people took our picture together since it was my first game.

Before the game we went to the South Campus Tailgate where I got to see some of Mommy and Daddy's friends and I got to make friends with a boxer, a dairy calf, and a baby chick.

After the Tailgate, we walked though the Tate Student Center on our way to the stadium and I had a great time walking through the crowds strapped to Daddy in the Baby Bjourn. The best part was reaching out and grabbing all the people that we passed.

When we got to the stadium it was almost time for kick-off so Mommy and Daddy bought me some water and we headed to our seats. The nice people that we sat next to took our picture with the stadium behind us right before the game started.

The weather wasn't all that bad, in fact it stayed overcast most of the game and even sprinkled a few drops on us. I liked talking with everyone and I especially liked singing (or doing my high-pitched squealing) along to the UGA Alma Mater and the National Anthem. I wasn't really impressed with the first kick-off cause the stadium got really loud and it scared me a little, but I'm a trooper and I got through it. I had had a big day, so about 20 minutes before the end of the half I feel asleep, I really like loud places :)

I woke up just in time to see the Dawgs score once more to make it 21-0 over Central Michigan. We left after that touchdown, but heard the crowd go wild when they scored again on our way to the car and this time I screamed along with the crowd. When we got home Mommy and Daddy watched the rest of the game and I took a nap. Overall, I had a great day and I loved watching the Dawgs play. I can't wait until I get to see them again!

Well, it's getting close to bedtime, so I better go. Talk to ya'll soon!

Love you, Connor

What I've been up to since school started back!

Wow, it's been like a month since I lasted posted, we have just been so busy. I love going to Ms. Mary's during the day, I get to play with all my friends like Daniel, Cayden, Jose, and my girlfriend Ella. I have been doing and trying so many new things. I have been through all of my veggies, so far squash is still my favorite and we have found out that carrots and I do not get along. I have also started on my fruits, I'd have to say that peaches and bananas are my two favorite fruits. I tried pears, but we found out that I was allergic to those so I couldn't have those anymore. I've tried chicken and turkey, they're not exactly my favorite, but if they're mixed with squash or peas, I'll eat anything. Here's a picture of the first time I tried chicken, I wasn't all that impressed.

I have been sitting in my highchair like a big boy, the best part about being up that high is getting to look at the dogs. They are always circling around my chair waiting to lick my hands or feet when I get food on them.

I went to the doctor for my 4 month shots and did really good. The doctor said I weighed 16 lbs and 4 oz and was 25 inches long. I liked flirting with the nurses, but the shots really hurt so I had to brave through them like a big boy.

I had a cold for a couple of weeks that wasn't getting any better, so Dr. Sprayberry put me on Amoxicillin. I started sleeping through the night right away since I was starting to feel much better, but we found out that I was allergic to that too, just like my Daddy and Grandpa Charlie. They put me on another antibiotic and Mommy says I have been doing great. I am back to sleeping all night in my own bed upstairs and I'm not coughing at night anymore and waking myself up.

I sat up by myself for the first time last Friday night, Mommy and Daddy made a big deal about it, but I tried to tell them I'm just that good. That's another thing, I talk and talk and talk, but no one seems to understand what I'm saying, I guess I'll have to work on that! I love playing with my toys, especially the furry ones that move around our house. Ava is my favorite because she loves to give me lots of kisses, Sable lets me crawl all over her, and the cats are just fun to pet.

I got to spend Saturday with my Nana and Papaw because Mommy and Daddy went to the Georgia game. Nana took me over to see Mimi, since I have not seen her in so long. This next weekend is the South Campus Tailgate and if the weather is not bad I get to go to my first Georgia game. I can't wait to go cheer on the Dawgs!

Well, it's time for dinner, so I'll talk to you all soon!
Love you, Connor

All the cool things I have been up to!

Well, let's see . . .

I have started eating baby food, yeah! I have decided however that oatmeal tastes better than rice cereal and squash is much better than green beans, but hey, as long as I can stick my hands in my mouth after each bite, I don't care too much.

I have been trying to sit up; I like to tripod myself, but sometimes I can't hold myself up and I just kinda fall over, but I'm working on it.

Mommy and I have been reading a lot of books my favorite is Yertle the Turtle, can't you tell?

This weekend I am spending the night with Nana and Papaw again, so that Mommy and Daddy can go out and see a movie. I love spending time with them, they're the best! On Monday, I get to go back to Ms. Mary's and see all of my friends, since Mommy is going back to work. I will have more fun stuff soon!

Love you all, Connor

3 Month Pics!

I took Connor for his 3 month pictures the other day. He did really good in the beginning of the session, but towards the end he started to get a little cranky. They turned out really good though, I was really suprised. Here are a few of the best ones . . .

Happy Belated 4th of July

Happy 4th of July, Everyone!

I have had an exciting past few weeks, especially on the weekends. Last weekend Mommy and I went swimming with Nana and Aunt Becky at Aunt Becky's house. It was my first time in a big pool and it was a little cool at first, but I got used to it and really liked playing in the water. Mommy bought me water wings, but they were too big, so everyone took turns holding me in the pool.

This past weekend I went to my first Little League game and helped cheer on my friend Sam's team; he plays 8 & 9 year old ball for Oconee. They beat Athens and got to continue on in the tournament, but we didn;t get to go watch them on Friday because I went to my first 4th of July Parade in Colbert. I really liked watching all the people and cars go by. I got to meet lots of Mommy and Daddy's friends and all of their kids too. I can't wait to go back next year when I am old enough to get the candy they throw out at the parade.

That afternoon Mommy, Daddy, and I hung out at the house. Daddy and I took a dip in the baby pool and Mommy took our pictures. Here I am posing with Mommy right after the parade and with Daddy in the pool.

My first night away from home and other cool stuff!

On Saturday night, I spent my first night away from home with my Nana and Popaw, while Mommy and Daddy went to Ms. Whitney's wedding.

We went on walks and played and Nana bought me some new shoes and a new baby gym. I love to lay under it and watch the toys sway back and forth to the music.

On Sunday, we went to church and then I got to go meet my Grandma Carrie (one of my great-grandmothers) and Mama Dot (my great-great-grandmother). They fed me and played with me, I really liked meeting them - Mommy will post some of those pictures soon.

I have learned a few new things tricks lately. I have discovered that Mommy's arms and fingers taste really good and are great for chewing on, when I can't get to my own hands. I have also been trying to stand - I really like it when someone holds me up and lets me put my feet on the ground and look around, that really makes me happy :) Also, Mommy and Daddy have been helping me to learn to crawl, since I wiggle forward and backwards when I'm on my stomach, but I can't seem to make my arms and legs work at the same time, so I just kind of slide on my chest across the floor.
More updates soon - love you all, Connor

What I have been up to since summer began!

Mommy and daddy got me a pool the other day - I'm not sure if I like it though, the water is a little cold at first, but I got use to it. Here's a picture of me in my first bathing suit and rash guard from my favorite Aunt Becky.

Here I am with Mommy going for my first dip -

and this is what I thought of the water!

I started rolling over the other night -it's pretty neat actually, I just can't seem to figure out how to get back to my stomach just yet. Here is a video Mommy took of me rolling over last friday.

I have also started to hold a few things in my hands - here I am with my new soccer rattle. It's really fun to shake, but sometimes I hit myself in the head, since I'm just figuring out my coordination.

I saved the best for last - here's a picture of me smiling for the camera.

Baptism

Connor was Baptized on Sunday the 18th at Christ the Lord Lutheran in Lawrenceville.

He was so good through out the entire service. He slept the whole time and only winced and turned red when he got water sprinkled on his head.

Jillian and Scott are Connor's Godparents and we are so blessed to have them both in our lives.

Here Connor is with Grandpa Charlie and Grandma Debbie; this was the first time they got to see Connor.
We'll have some more pictures posted in the next few days!

Look what I can do

Connor has been learning a few new things over the past few weeks, like smiling and lifting his head and holding it up. Here are a few pictures of some of the new things he has learned.

He's holding his head up and pulling up his back legs at the same time - this causes him to rollover sometimes, which doesn't really impress him all that much.

One of the only smiles we have been able to catch with the camera. Doesn't he look too cute in his Oshkosh b'gosh?

Sometimes he gets upset and this is how we spend a portion of our evenings, but overall he's a great baby!

Sneak Peek of Newborn Pics!

On Saturday, we took Connor to go have his newborn photos done. The photographer has posted these two pictures of Connor to her blog as a sneak peek. I'll post most once they're available to view.
This is his Georgia hat that his Mimi gave him, doesn't he look adorable?

Yes, he has a baby faux-hawk! It was not intentional, but his hair is wild and does whatever it wants to do at the time.
