We've been pretty busy since we came back from Tybee. Mommy and I spent a lot of time together this summer and did lots of fun things. We tried to make it to Memorial Park and the Bear Hollow Zoo once a week, often times with my friend Hudson and his new baby sister, Harper. We celebrated Hudson's birthday at the park, where we played, fed the ducks & turtles goldfish crackers, and had cake and ice cream.
When Mommy headed back to school this fall, I headed back to Ms. Mary's to see all my friends. With Ella in preschool most mornings, I am now the big man at Ms. Mary's :) My new favorite friend is Elijah, if you ask me who I play with all day, that's who I'll say. Even though he's a lot smaller than me and I really like him and like to share all of my cars with him too.
Since I am getting older, Mommy & Daddy decided that it's time for me to get a big boy room, so before school started Mommy painted the extra room upstairs so that when my new furniture came in, it would be my new room. I was suppose to move into my new room during the first week of August, but my new bed came in broken, so I had to wait another whole week to get my new room. Mommy and Daddy decided to decorate my new room in surf boards, the beach, and shells, since I loved the beach so much this summer and we have a lot of shells from my Grandma Lynne's house. I love my new room and love to show it off to everyone new who comes to the house - I call it "my new (nuu) room."Sounds pretty cool huh?
Mommy will post pictures soon!So, since we were on the whole big boy thing this fall, Mommy and Daddy decided that I was getting to lazy with my potty training and they decided to sign-me up for O'Mara's Potty Bootcamp. So one Saturday morning I got up and they immediately put me in big boy underwear (Lightning McQueen, of coarse!) and shorts. After several attempts at asking if I had to go potty, I told them no and kept playing. The next thing I now, I look down to discover that my pants are now soaked through and that I have pee going down my leg onto the floor. Daddy told "I told you this would happen if you didn't pee pee in the potty, I guess you're going to have to learn the hard way" - I just chalked this up to bad luck and figured that I would remember the next time. At that time Daddy asked me if I had to take an "eww" and I told him no, a couple of minutes later, before I realized what was happening and what to do, I pooped my pants and had to walk like a duck into the kitchen to tell Mommy. Needless to say we went though 8 pairs of underwear that day (and we only had 6 pairs at the time), but I am proud to say that Sunday went significantly better and that I am getting better everyday and most days not even having an accident!!!
My new favorite ride is the 4-wheeler, Mr. Randy next door has one and he lets Daddy and I ride it all the time. Here are a few pictures of us, the last time we rode.
A couple of weeks ago, Mommy and I took Daddy to Memorial Park, since he had never been to see the animals. We took my new soccer ball too. Here are a few pictures of us playing soccer and seeing my favorite animal, the bobcat.
