So Fall is finally here and we are spending much more time outside than we did during the hot Summer. Mommy and Daddy have been going to Georgia Bulldog football games and I have been hanging out with Nana and Papaw.
During the summer I was a talking machine, I said things like Mommy, Daddy, car, truck, Ava, kitty, dog, goat, go, cracker, milk, more, and a few others, but when Mommy went back to work and I went back to Mrs. Mary's I got a little upset and stopped talking. When I got upset at Ms. Mary's I took my frustration out on a few of my friends there and bit them on the arms (hey before you go thinking I was the only one causing problems, you've got to understand that they were trying to take my toys away from me and I had to retaliate). I got in a lot of trouble and I even got put in time out a few times. Since I have gotten back into the rhythm of things and have started talking a little more, I haven't spend much time in time out, thank goodness.
I have starting saying a few more things, my standby words were always Daddy, Mommy, Ava, and kitty, but I have added on a little more and even learned a little sign language, too. When I stopped talking Mommy taught me "more" in sign language, so I use that one all the time and I am evening saying "more" occasionally when they can't see me sign. I love going outside, so I have also started saying "go outside" as well. Mommy finally figured out what I was saying yesterday afternoon, when I repeated her with "gau owshch" when she asked me if I wanted to go outside after my nap. I still have a ways to go, but my words are getting clearing, easier to understand, and I'm beginning to say a few more words each day.
So I had this things with cell phones, basically any time I saw one, I had to have it. Daddy always let me have his, but I "killed" a few and they cut me off. I got to keep old cell phones of theirs, but what fun is a phone that you can't press buttons and make noises and different screens come on? However, my addiction got so bad that Mommy and Daddy (especially Daddy - I liked his blue phone a lot) couldn't even talk on the phone while I was around because I would just throw a fit to have the phone. So when Mommy got a new phone, they decided to cut me off cold turkey - the first two days I screamed and tried to climb the counters to get at the phone stash (there's always three up on the counter, I just don't understand why I couldn't have just 1?), but they were persistent and I have pretty much broken the addiction. . . well almost, I had a phone attack yesterday afternoon, but they ignored my tantrum and I found something else to do.
Just wanted to give ya'll a quick update, I'll post some pictures later this week.
Love you all, Connor XOXOXO
